Sarpanch candidate ordered liquor for voters, administration took this step

Niwari: 25 cartons of illicit liquor have been seized from the house of a sarpanch candidate in Majal village of Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh. In order to buy votes and woo the voters in the panchayat elections, the Sarpanch candidate had ordered a huge quantity of liquor, which was recovered by the administration.

In fact, with panchayat elections underway in Madhya Pradesh, the candidates are trying their best to woo the voters. Meera Bindua is in the fray for the post of Sarpanch in Gram Panchayat Majal of Prithvipur block. The administration received information that Shankar Dayal Bindua, husband of candidate Meera Bindua, was keeping liquor at his house to woo candidates in the elections. On receiving the information, the SDM along with the police administration raided the house of the culprit and found 25 cartons of illicit liquor, which were recovered from the spot.

SDM Ankita Jain informed that illegal liquor has been recovered from the house of Shankar Dayal Bindua in gram panchayat Majal. Meera Bindua, the wife of Shankar Dayal Bindua, is contesting for the post of sarpanch in gram panchayat Majal, whose house was raided in which 25 cartons of liquor have been recovered. Legal action is being taken against the offender.
