Meerut: Crime is constantly increasing in UP. Within 24 hours, another murder case has come to light in Meerut. A person has been murdered during the morning walk. It has caused outrage in the locality. On Wednesday morning, a gym coach was shot dead on Sakauti-Nangli road in Daurala police station area of Meerut. 

According to the information received, two accused riding the bike murdered him during the morning walk. The local people, who reached the spot after hearing the sound of gunfire, informed the police about the murder. The villagers also chased the bike-ridden criminals, but they ran away towards the highway. The villagers sent the victim to the hospital with the help of the police, but the doctors there declared him dead. The police is investigating the case. The deceased also used to do contract work along with working as a trainer in the gym.

In Meerut, on Tuesday, four accused openly looted a jewellery shop at Jagriti Vihar in the medical station area and shot and killed a businessman. According to the victim, the accused fled by robbing Rs 10 lakh in cash and 5kg of silver. After the incident, traders closed the market and expressed their anger. The police have arrested a suspect in the initial investigation charging the man for robbery and murder. The matter is being investigated by the police.
