Noted South Indian film superstar Mohanlal and the critically acclaimed actor-director duo Jitu Joseph are coming together again for a new movie called 12th Man. Mohanlal had earlier worked with director Jitu Joseph in the blockbuster film Drishyam in 2013. He collaborated again for the sequel, Drishyam 2, which was released in 2021. Amidst great hopes, the blockbuster director-actor duo 12th Man has started shooting from today.

On the occasion of Malayalam New Year in Chingam today, filming for 12TH Man began. The movie was officially presented today with a formal puja programme as it is an auspicious day for Malayali people. The makers posted the big news on social media and also shared some photos of the team from the puja programme.
Mann has also been funded by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirwad Cinemas. As soon as the filming started today, the makers are yet to announce the stars and crew of the movie. Mohanlal is reportedly currently shooting for brother Daddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran's second directed project which also featured Kalyani Priyadarshan.
