The house's captain, Shiv Thakare, tries to get the other contestants to follow his instructions in the upcoming Bigg Boss 16 episode.

Shiv makes a plan to disrupt Archana's sleep, along with the help of the other housemates. She swears she won't let anyone sleep and starts banging plates to wake up the other contestants. "Dusro ki neend neend nahi hoti?" she asks in further conversation. In the alley, Priyanka also joins in on the fun, calling Shiv a bad captain.

As Archana is discovered sleeping the following morning, the Bigg Boss alarm is pressed. Shiv cautions Archana not to fall asleep. For her to become awake, he wets her eyes. He receives a severe warning from Archana as well.

Shiv then gives Priyanka Chahar Choudhary instructions to perform her kitchen duties. Priyanka objects, claiming that while she isn't shirking her responsibilities, Shiv cannot tell her what to do or when to do it. In the episode, Bigg Boss will also order Shiv to use other tactics if the housemates refuse to comply with his instructions despite repeated requests.

Shiv's captaincy has drawn a lot of criticism. In the previous episode, Tina Datta was heard saying that Shiv's attitude has changed ever since he was named captain.
