The box office collection of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya's movie 'Bangarraju' has not been much. Bangarraju earned only Rs 4 crore on the second weekend. The movie has reduced the total by Rs 49 crore in ten days. The film has seen a huge decline in revenue over the weekend. However, the film has done good business in Andhra Pradesh. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya's movie was released in theatres on January 14. The movie did good business in its opening week.
Superstar Nagarjuna's movie had also earned Rs 17.5 crore on the first day. Naga Chaitanya also shared a photo of its box office collection on his Instagram. The movie had earned Rs 36 crores on the second day which was a huge success. The movie had earned Rs 53 crore on the third day. The movie earned a total of 44 crores in the first week.
According to trade analysts at Tollywood Movies, they expected the movie to do good business over the weekend as there is no movie in its competition right now. Nagarjuna is also one of the producers of this movie. The movie is directed by Kalyan Krishna. 'Bangarraju' is a Tamil remake of Sogada Chinni Nayana. The movie was released in 2016. The original movie starred Nagarjuna in the lead role and was accompanied by Ramya Krishnan in the lead role. The remake also stars Ramya Krishnan as Nagarjuna's wife. The father-son duo appeared together in 'Bangarraju'. The two were earlier seen together in 'Manam'. Watching the two superstars of the South together is no less than a treat for fans. The movie stars Kirti Shetty in an important role alongside Naga. Kirti has also played the important role of a female pradhan in the movie. The film is made under the banner of Annapurna Studios. Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his debut with Aamir Khan's 'Lal Singh Chadha'.
