Patna: Despite the uproar across the country over the new variant of corona infection, Omicron, many people are being grossly negligent. This is clearly visible in the capital Patna. Despite the omicron crisis, people are buying in markets and vegetable markets. Due to this, they are not using social distances, masks and sanitizers.

In fact, even after the guidelines issued by the government to prevent the crisis of Omicron variant, there is no hesitation in being negligent. On one hand, while people are not following the guidelines, there is a lot of negligence at the government level as well. Actually, the Center has sent a list of people who have come to Patna from all the affected countries, but not all samples have been taken from it yet. Not only this, the pace of testing the people coming from Omicron affected countries is also slow and they are not being quarantined till the reports come.

However, it is a matter of relief that the report of the persons who have been investigated has come out negative. According to the Health Department, people will have to stay in home isolation for 8 days. The Medical Department is of the view that most of the persons whose list has been sent by the Central Government have not come directly to Patna. Many people are talking about being Delhi-Noida and they are leaving their homes in a begar. In such a situation, all those who come from the airport and station except those whose RTPCR report is negative up to 72 hours ago are being tested.
