Costing a staggering ₹2,989 crore, the statue depicts Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Home Minister, clad in traditional attire of a dhoti and shawl, standing tall beside the Narmada River. The construction of this monumental statue involved approximately 250 engineers and a workforce of 3,400 laborers and was completed within a span of 33 months.

The statue features a viewing gallery situated at a height of 193 meters above sea level, capable of accommodating up to 200 visitors simultaneously. This gallery, positioned at 153 meters, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Sardar Sarovar Dam, its reservoir, and the Satpura and Vindhya mountain ranges.
