Alwar: A shocking incident of rape has emerged from Alwar in Rajasthan. A police officer has been accused of rape. According to media reports, a woman went to the Khadli police station to register an FIR against her husband. The sub-inspector posted there raped her in the police station premises.
After the incident came to light, IG of Jaipur range and SP of Alwar reached the police station and took stock of the situation and took information about the whole case. In fact, the 26-year-old victim is having a quarrel with her husband, with whom she reached the Khedli police station on March 2, 2021 to register an FIR against her husband. It is alleged that Bharat Singh, a second officer posted at Khedli police station, lured the victim to settle the dispute with her husband. The victim has alleged that after this, he took the victim to a residence located in the police station premises and raped her there. The victim alleges that the sub-inspector did not stop here. He also called and raped the victim for the next two days. Whenever the victim reached the police station to file a complaint against the said SI, the police evaded her and drove her away. Because of this, she was not able to register the case.
The accused SI is 54 years old. The woman's husband wanted to give her divers, after which she reached the police station with a complaint. SI promised that he would settle the case with her husband. A woman had also filed a rape case against ASI Ramjit Gurjar posted at Aravali Vihar police station 5 days ago. At present, the accused SI has been arrested and further investigation has been started by registering an FIR.
