"The Sukoon ki neend is very important for me": Actress Aneri Vajani

When casting director Dimpy Sinha found Aneri Vajani on Facebook at the age of 19, he asked her to "test" for a role. Vajani tried out for the 2012 production Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, but she was unsuccessful. Vajani remembers, "I didn't get it, then they called me again for another show. I didn't want to fight, though. When Dimpy called me a second time, I informed her of this. It's not my cup of tea to wait in line and be turned down, I said. I'll handle it my way. "Do you know what struggle is," she responded. During that call, Sinha recognised a role in Vajani that she "cracked" in the audition, earning her debut TV show Kali (2012).

Vajani has been active in the industry for ten years, but she has only worked on a small number of projects. According to the actor, she prefers "quality over quantity." I'm very picky when it comes to picking up something, Vajani explains. I don't want to make a hasty decision and miss out on a restful night's sleep. For me, that Sukhoon Ki Neend is crucial.

Vajani had to pass on a number of shows in order to choose something interesting because they didn't speak to her. She does have the thought, "Oh, I probably should have done it." "I experience it frequently. (But) after the fifth episode, when I watch the show, I feel like accha hua nahi hua," she says.

She recalls her disappointment over "a big show on a big channel" that never materialized. I conducted the dummy shoot and the look test. The day before my birthday, on March 25, I was supposed to sign the contract. I departed from another show in the process because it was a different show. I waited for their call for a while before calling them to find out what was going on. I waited for it, even on my birthday. After awhile, I started crying uncontrollably because I read that someone else was doing it. I was very eager to complete it. The advertisements were excellent, and when the show finally aired, she says, "God knows what is best for you.
