Sheikhpura: The Howrah Express train hit a tractor that came on the track on the Kiul-Gaya rail route in Bihar's Sheikhpura district. The driver escaped unhurt in the accident, but the tractor was completely damaged. At the same time, the train also survived a major accident. The incident took place at an unmanned railway crossing ahead of Kusumba Halt, a short distance from Sheikhpura railway station.

According to the news received, there is an unmanned railway crossing near the Kusumbha railway halt. Due to the absence of any railway employee at this railway crossing, the movement of trains from both sides is going on. In fact, due to the lack of gates at the railway crossing, railway personnel do not stay and vehicles coming and going on both sides of the road keep crossing the tracks.

Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, a tractor loaded with ballast was passing through here. Then the Howrah Express train went to Gaya from there. Seeing the train approaching, the driver of the tractor jumped and saved his life, but the front part of the tractor collided with the train. In this accident, the tractor was completely damaged and overturned on the side of the railway track. As soon as the news of the accident was received, local railway officials and policemen of the nearby police station reached the spot. Now, railways have initiated further action in the matter.
