The trust lies solely in 'Modi's Guarantee': Uttarakhand CM comments as BJP dominates the Hindi heartland

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized on Sunday that across the Hindi heartland states of Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, the people's trust solely rests on 'Modi's Guarantee,' with the Congress seemingly losing its hold in the 2023 Assembly polls.

Expressing his views on X, Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and a prominent BJP leader, highlighted the singular factor driving trust across the nation.

"In India, the only guarantee people rely on is 'Modi's Guarantee'," he conveyed in a Hindi statement on X.

As the vote count progresses, the BJP has established a significant lead in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, with an eye on seizing Chhattisgarh from the Congress. Meanwhile, in Telangana, the Congress appears poised to overthrow the BRS government led by K Chandrasekhar Rao, potentially assuming power in another southern state.

The Congress has faced a resounding defeat in Madhya Pradesh, marking the BJP's fourth consecutive victory in the state. The incumbent Chief Minister, Shivraj Chouhan, along with the BJP, is surging toward a comprehensive win in Madhya Pradesh.

As the Assembly poll results unfolded, the Congress seemed on the brink of losing ground in Rajasthan, adhering to the cyclic voting pattern of the state. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP seems positioned to surpass the Congress in the state. However, the Congress found solace in Telangana, where it is likely to form a government independently.

The electoral scenario has taken a downturn for the Congress in Madhya Pradesh, where they had pinned their hopes for a return to power.

Having only secured one Lok Sabha seat in MP and two in Chhattisgarh, the Congress is now faced with the realization that it lacks dominance in the Hindi heartland, relegating the party's influence primarily to the South of the Vindhyas.

The loss of the three heartland states raises significant concerns for the Congress, indicating a lack of acceptance for their electoral strategies, such as the 'Caste Census.'

In Chhattisgarh, the BJP seems to have disrupted the ruling Congress' plans, leading in 54 out of 90 assembly seats, while the Congress held sway in 35 seats, according to the latest information available from the Election Commission.

According to the most recent figures released by the Election Commission, the BJP was leading in 160 out of 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh, whereas the Congress was ahead in 67 seats."
