New Delhi: Japanese automaker Kawasaki has introduced the Versys 1000 motorcycle in India for the year 2023. It is available in only one trim.

The bike features an aggressive design and a long list of electronic riding aids, such as cruise control and traction control, are its main highlights. It is powered by a 1,043cc, inline-4, liquid-cooled engine with a maximum output of 118.2 horsepower.

The Kawasaki Versys 1000 model from 2023 boasts of attractive aesthetics, a long feature list and respectable performance. The sports tourer comes standard with a DC socket for charging smartphones and is expected to face increased competition in our home market. Here, the high-end car competes against rivals like the BMW F 900 XR and the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport.

Twin-pod headlamps, adjustable windscreen, split-style seat, side-mounted exhaust and fairing integrated cornering lights are all features on the 2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000.

It features an all-LED lighting system, a semi-digital instrument cluster and a DC socket for charging compatible devices. The bike is available in dual-tone metallic matte graphenesteel grey/metallic spark black and comes with 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Kawasaki Versys 1000 is powered by a 1,043cc, inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and produces 102Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm and 118.2hp at 9,000rpm. The mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch mechanism.

The Kawasaki Versys 1000 features disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with ABS, Kawasaki Cornering Management, electronic cruise control and a traction control system for rider safety. Front suspension of the adventure-styled sports tourer is handled by 43mm inverted forks, and rear suspension is handled by a monoshock unit.

2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Price Rs. 12.19 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The high-end motorbike is available in just one trim and only one colour.
