Dehradun: IRB and SSB personnel in Kashipur and Sitarganj in Uttarakhand are increasing day by day by the women who have accused them of sexual exploitation. In Kashipur, the woman has sent a complaint letter to the police officials accusing a person posted in the IRB of sexually abusing her and forcibly aborting. It is alleged that after taking action in the police, the accused and his sick sister are threatening to implicate her family in false cases.

According to sources, The young man was appointed in the IRB. He took her to his friend's home for making relations which made her pregnant. On 10 February 2019, the accused forcibly aborted her. On August 1, 2019, the accused took her to a restaurant on Kundeshwari Road. There he reiterated to marry her and took her to a secluded place on Kundeshwari-Kelamod by bike. There he tried to force her to drink poison, but the poison vial fell down. The victim alleges that the said youth is refusing to marry her and is threatening to kill her. It is alleged that the young man's sick sister is calling and threatening her to implicate her family in false cases. The victim pleaded for justice.

On 19 April he married to someone else. On the woman's complaint, a case has been registered against the accused SSB employee Devendra Basera under Section 376 of the IPC and the investigation started.
