Recently, a case of crime that has come to light is from Meerut where a woman living in the Civil Line Police Station area has been raped. In the case of not taking action by the police, the victim reached the SSP office on Friday and filed a complaint. In this case, the woman says, "The accused has kept her hostage somewhere, threatening to kill her husband."

On the other hand, the victim says, "A young man living in the neighborhood had lured her into a job and in May 2018, the accused took her to a hotel on Delhi Road. The young man raped her by giving drugs in cold drinks and made a video. Since then, the accused has been raping her by threatening to put the video on social media."

On 24th December, the accused came to her house and raped her and when she heard her husband making an objection, the husband asked the accused to complain to the police station. After this, the accused beat her husband hostage in her house and it is alleged that her husband has been held hostage somewhere. In this case, the victim told, "Earlier there was a complaint at the Civil Line police station, but the police stopped. SP Crime investigated the Civil Line Inspector and directed him to take action."
