As it continues to tease its premiere, the upcoming webcomic "The Villainess is a Marionette" is getting all the attention from fans. It's one thing to have a compelling plot, but the authors of this webcomic have raised the stakes by casting some of the most regal-looking actors. Cha Eun Woo, Han So Hee, and Lee Soo Hyuk play characters who are ideal for their parts.

The characters are introduced in a new video through a making-of-movie, in which the actors can be seen preparing to assume their regal forms. Cha Eun Woo, an ASTRO member, plays the role of Duke Raffaello Kidrey. The tale revolves around Han So Hee's character, the calculating Princess Kayena Hill. In the meantime, as previously hinted at by a billboard, Lee Soo Hyuk is prepared to unleash his seductive charms as the troubled Prince Rezef Hill, who challenges his sister while she tries to flee from him.

Only a little glimpse of what lies in store as we learn the many facets of this much-awaited drama is provided by the trailer. It centres on Princess Kayena, who is controlled by her brother Rezef and treated like a puppet. After getting out from under him, she goes to Duke Kidrey, who teams up with her in an intricate and relentless power struggle.

Before the premiere of episode 1, a hugely dramatic trailer will be released. The making-of clip, which will debut on October 7, teases the palatial setting of the webtoon.
