New Delhi: While people across the country are facing shortage of oxygen, etc., due to corona infection, some are engaged in black marketing of oxygen cylinders and concentraters during the epidemic. Recently, police in Delhi busted several such black marketing gangs. At such a time, an NGO in Noida is providing such products at the homes of underprivileged people for just Rs 1.

Noida's 'The Voice of Slum' salt NGO they are providing life saving equipment to slum dwellers in Noida. In addition, people from NGO are also assisting families who are not able to buy these expensive machines. NGO provides machines to such people for a rent of just one rupee, so far they have saved about 62 lives in slum areas. Dev Pratap Singh, co-founder of The Voice of Slum, said that we work for the upliftment of slum children, but since the epidemic, we have seen many slum dwellers die due to lack of treatment.

He said such people lacked basic needs such as food and hygiene to eat, let alone oxygen concentraters and cylinders.  We decided to launch a campaign through crowdfunding to help such people.'
