The incident took place in Chinhat police station area, where history-sheeter Bimal Yadav lives with his family wife Julie Yadav (27), mother Kalawati Devi, brother Ravi Yadav and Sumit Yadav from Chinhat police station in Kanchanpur Matiyari village. Bimal was married to Julie Yadav, daughter of Premnath Yadav, a resident of Chowk, in February last year. The sound of gunfire was heard from Julie's room on the first floor of the house at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, Kalawati was present in the house. Vimal claims he was not at home during the incident. He had been in the neighborhood. When Kalawati heard her screaming, Bimal came home and found Julie's blood-soaked body lying near the bed in the room. He had a bullet mark on his right canopy. The family members of the deceased said that "Julie Yadav was married to Vimal on February 27, 2019. The husband was in disagreement with the wife about something. It is alleged that julie was shot dead by her husband," the police said, questioning husband Bimal Yadav and her mother Kalawati Devi in the case.
