Lucknow: In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a liquor businessman committed suicide by shooting himself with an illegal pistol in a hotel. It is being told that the reason behind the suicide is family dispute. Actually, there was a dispute going on between the businessman and his wife for a long time. The wife wanted to divorce her husband. He had also filed a petition for divorce.
According to the information, Vijay Gupta and Chotu, residents of Aliganj police station Sector-E, had booked a room in Lucknow. Late in the night, hotel workers heard gunshots from Vijay's room. When the hotel workers ran into the room, they saw that Vijay was lying on the ground in a blood-soaked condition. Vijay was seriously injured by the bullet. The hotel staff immediately informed the police about it. Police reached the spot and took the injured Vijay to the hospital where he died during treatment. And took possession of the illegal pistol lying near the dead body.
Investigation revealed that the deceased Vijay was having a dispute with his wife for the last two years. Vijay also has two sons. Due to discord, Vijay's wife was living in her maternal home in Bahraich. She had filed for divorce. Due to which Vijay was running very upset. Police Commissioner DK Thakur said that he was informed about the incident by the hotel staff. After which the police reached the spot and got the injured Vijay admitted to the nearest hospital. But he died during treatment. At present, the police have registered a case and the investigation is still on.
