Dehradun: A woman living illegally in the restricted area of Nabhidhang near the Indo-China border has claimed that she is an incarnation of Mother Parvati and will marry Shiva, who lives on Kailash Parvat. Pithoragarh police, who had gone to remove the woman from Lucknow, had to return. According to Pithoragarh SP Lokendra Singh, when the police went to remove Harminder Kaur, who lives in the restricted area, she threatened to commit suicide.  

According to SP Lokendra Singh, when the police tried to remove her from there, she said that if she was forced to do so, she would commit suicide. Thereafter, the police team quietly returned from there. According to SP Lokendra Singh, a large team will be sent to remove the woman from there and forcibly bring her to Dharchula.

According to SP Lokendra Singh, the woman, a resident of the Aliganj area of UP, had gone to Gunji with her mother for 15 days after taking permission from SDM Dharchula. Even after her approval expired on May 25, she refused to leave the restricted area. The police had sent a police team led by two sub-inspectors and an inspector from Dharchula but they had to return empty-handed. According to the police, "It has been decided to send a large police team of 12 members, including medical personnel, to evacuate the woman.'' According to the police, the woman's mental condition is not good and she is claiming that she is an incarnation of Goddess Parvati and has come to marry Mahadev. Gunji is on the way to Kailash-Mansarovar.
