The woman reportedly hid the drugs inside her sanitary pads and was on her way to the Qatari capital, Doha, for drug trafficking. He was apprehended during checking at the airport and three more persons were arrested by the police. They are being questioned.

According to reports, two persons involved in drug trafficking have been identified as Abu and Mohammed and both are said to be residents of Kochi in Kerala. "These people were running the India-Qatar drug smuggling gang. "The police have recovered a huge quantity of drugs from their hideout in Austin Town and, according to an estimate, are worth more than Rs 30 crore," it said.

According to the information received in the case, the woman was lured to pay a lot of money in lieu of delivering drugs and all those arrested in the case have been remanded to judicial custody. According to reports, the police is investigating the case.
