The victim filed a case at A sector 11 police station in Chandigarh that on June 11, her acquaintance contacted her on a mobile phone and when she arrived, the accused took her in an auto rickshaw and took her to the railway station. The two then reached Ambala and sat on a train at Ambala and reached Haridwar. It is now alleged that the young man took him to a flat, which he described as his brother-in-law and then a young lamp found at the flat served him food. Both stayed in flats and slept together.
During that night, the accused wanted to have a physical relationship and now the girl is alleged to have forcibly developed a physical relationship even after refusing and brought her back the next day. On the other hand, Chandigarh Police lodged an FIR on the complaint of the victim and transferred it to Haridwar and Kotwali in-charge Praveen Singh Koshyari said that "the case is under investigation".
