Pune: Army Chief General MM Naravane said on Friday that the country's military is undergoing theaterisation and that new technology is being inducted into the armed forces in light of the changing nature of wars. “Over the years, the nature of war has evolved. The process of theaterisation is underway... this would be a significant and significant decision. We will take things slowly at first. However, theaterisatoin will take place, the army chief stated. “In terms of technology induction in the armed forces... "We are not far behind any other country on the planet," he added.

Naravane made the remarks during a press conference following the 141st course's passing out parade at the National Defence Academy in Pune. The Indian Army is buying "most of the technology and equipment from Indian companies, contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat," according to the Army chief.

After the parade, the Army chief addressed the cadets, emphasising the importance of continuing to gain knowledge through professional education even after graduating from the academy in order to deal with the changing nature of wars. “New advances in niche technologies are altering the very nature of war... As a result, it's critical that you keep up with these changes through ongoing professional education,” Naravane said.
