World Chocolate Day is celebrated on July 7 every year. On this special occasion, people gift chocolates to their friends, relatives and loved ones. This day is celebrated with a lot of fanfare all over the world. But due to the pandemic coronavirus, its fanfare has faded a bit. Due to this crisis, people are celebrating this day with their own families.

Chocolate Day began in 1550: For the first time in the year 1550, Chocolate Day is being celebrated on the 7th of July, after which it has been celebrated in many countries around the world. Before that time chocolate was limited to specific regions and countries.

The finest taste made: It is said that in the year 1519, Spanish explorer Hernan Cortese was served a chocolate-based drink. He took the drink with him to Spain and mixed vanilla, sugar and cinnamon to improve the taste. Now let's talk about some different types of chocolate...

Baking chocolate: Baking chocolate is also called unsweetened, which is to say that this chocolate has no taste. It is made especially for baking purposes, but it cannot be eaten. Mixing with other things doubles the taste of your recipe.

Dark chocolate: Dark chocolate is the second most loved chocolate. It's a little less sweet, but it's very good for your health. If you want to prepare a dish with chocolate, dark chocolate is used in it. Gives very good texture and flavour.

Cocoa powder: Did you know that when the chocolate is melted at a very high temperature, its liquid part is separated and prepared from the solid part that is left. There are also two types of cocoa powder - natural cocoa, which is of light brown colour and the other is Dutch cocoa which is a dark colour and mild flavoured.

Bittersweet chocolate: Bittersweet chocolate contains 50% cocoa. It's a bit bitter compared to the rest of the chocolates. It tastes slightly sweet so it can also be called extra dark chocolate.

White chocolate: White chocolate contains chocolate liquor or any other cocoa products. Even it doesn't taste like chocolate but like smooth vanilla. White chocolate is made of sugar, cocoa butter, milk, vanilla and lecithin.
