Jammu: There is a lot of resentment among Kashmiri Pandits over the killing of Ra Hul Bhatt. On Friday, 350 government employees resigned in protest against the killing. All have sent their resignations to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. All these Kashmiri Pandits are employees of the PM package. They say that they are feeling insecure in the Valley after the killing of government employee Rahul Bhatt by the terrorists. At the same time, Kashmiri Pandits will also agitate at Lal Chowk in a short while. Earlier, Kashmiri Pandits blocked the old Jammu-Akhnoor highway in the morning. Due to this, they raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Police detained eight Kashmiri Pandits. At the same time, four persons were injured in the police lathi charge. Police also fired tear gas shells to prevent the protesters from heading toward the airport in the wake of the protest.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha wrote on Twitter that he met the family members of Rahul Bhatt. I assured his family of justice. The government stands with Rahul's family in this hour of grief. The terrorists and their supporters will have to pay a huge price for this crime. Bjp state president Ravinder Raina and former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Kavindra Gupta, who arrived to attend Rahul Bhatt's last visit, faced opposition from Kashmiri Pandits. Kashmiri Pandits gheraoed both of them and shouted slogans. Angry Kashmiri Pandits raised slogans against the Modi government.

On the other hand, senior Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut commented on the government and said that reciting Hanuman Chalisa and removing loudspeakers will not solve Kashmiri pandits. If this problem has to be eliminated, then the central government will have to take tough decisions. "How long will he keep pointing fingers at Pakistan and criminalising it? After all, what are we doing to end this problem? Rahul Bhatt's wife Meenakshi said that Rahul was feeling insecure in Chadoora. He had been appealing to the local administration to send him to the headquarters for two years. Meenakshi said that even when two teachers were killed in Kashmir, Rahul had sought transfer citing security, but they were not transferred.''
