Hero MotoCorp, which has been popular in India for a long time, sold around 3,58,586 units in August 2024. The company's bikes like Splendor, HF Deluxe, Passion and Glamour are selling in both rural and urban markets. Hero bikes are known for affordable prices, better mileage and durability, which makes them popular among customers.

Hero also has a strong hold in rural areas, due to which its sales are continuously increasing. Apart from this, the company has also recently entered its premium and electric segment, which is an important part of its future strategies.

Honda sales

On the other hand, Honda two-wheelers sold around 3,52,558 units in August. Honda's Activa scooter and CB Shine bike are among its popular models. The Activa scooter sells well especially in urban areas of India and is considered comfortable and easy to use.

Honda has rapidly expanded its customer base through its strong service network and dealership. Recently, the company has launched many new models and has also accelerated its plans in the electric segment. Due to this, its sales are expected to increase and it may get even better in the coming time.

This gap may reduce even more in the future, especially during the festive season, when the demand for two-wheelers increases. The impact of this close competition between Hero and Honda may increase further in the coming months. Both companies are trying to make a better place in the market in their own ways and it will be interesting to see which company wins in the future.
