Buxar: Around six persons died under mysterious circumstances in Amsari village of Buxar in Bihar on Wednesday night. The police have started an investigation. After the incident, the family members are crying and crying. The family members of the deceased alleged that the deaths were due to spurious liquor. What is the administration doing? If alcohol is banned, how are they drinking it? After the incident, Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar informed that the condition of four more persons is critical and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

"We have received information about the death of six persons and it is being investigated. At least five persons died in Bihar's Saran district on January 22. Saran Collector Rajesh Meena had said that five deaths have been reported from several villages of Amnore and Maker blocks.''

Earlier, more than 40 persons had died in West Champaran, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur districts around the month of November due to spurious liquor. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had promised the women of the state that they would ban liquor in the state. A year later, in April 2016, there was a complete ban on the sale and consumption of liquor in Bihar.
