New Delhi: There is no chance of getting relief from cold, rain and snowfall. According to the information given by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), another Western Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from the night of February 8. On February 9, Delhi may see cloudy skies and light rain. Western Disturbances are storms that bring rain in winter. A Western Disturbance had brought rain, clouds and temperature in Delhi last week as well.

According to the IMD update released on Monday, the minimum temperature is expected to increase by 2 to 4 degrees in some parts of Northwest India during the next two days. The maximum temperature is likely to be in the range of 19 degree to 25 degree Celsius throughout the week. The temperature at 8.30 am on Monday was 11.8 degrees Celsius, while the relative humidity was recorded at 87 per cent.

According to the IMD's forecast, Delhi is expected to have moderate fog on Monday. The minimum temperature on Monday is likely to remain 6 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to touch 25 degree Celsius. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded a notch above normal at 24.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.4 degrees Celsius.
