Ranchi: Schools and colleges of Jharkhand were closed continuously during the Corona period and the students who used to celebrate happiness by playing colours and gulal among themselves before the holiday on Holi in the institute, that practice was also closed due to Corona for the last few years. A shortfall was registered in the matter and when the institutes opened, this time the students were in the mood to celebrate Holi, but in Ranchi's DSPMU, a ban has been imposed on celebrating Holi. Issuing a notice, the university management has said that action will be taken against the students for celebrating the mass festival of Holi. There is resentment among the students regarding the matter.

The students of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (formerly Ranchi College) are very angry. According to them, the university management has issued a Tughlaqi decree, refusing them to play Holi in the university campus. A news has also been issued regarding this. Students are very angry after pasting this news issued by the registrar's signature on the notice board. The students created a ruckus on the university campus regarding the matter.

The students had sought approval from the university management to celebrate Holi. After this, while issuing a notice on the notice board on behalf of the university, it has been told that official approval has not been given to celebrate the mass celebration of Holi in the university campus. If any group program of any side takes place on the university campus, then action will be taken by marking such students. Although why this restriction has been imposed, it is not clear in the notice.
