Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government is looking stern on the poster of the controversial documentary film 'Kaali.' Now Madhya Pradesh home minister Dr Narottam Mishra's statement on this has come out, he said- it is objectionable. It shows our Maa Kali smoking a cigarette. I want to ask the director why does he make films only about our gods and goddesses? If they have the courage, then make a film on the gods and goddesses of another religion. Narottam Mishra said, "I will ask for an FIR to be lodged on it and it will be considered as to how this film is banned in the state." If the posters of the film are not removed immediately, we will take strict action against the culprits.

It is worth mentioning that the poster of the documentary film Kali has been launched recently. The film is made by Lena Manimekalai. The poster of the film shows the role of the Hindu goddess Maa Kali smoking a cigarette. The whole controversy is about this poster. Let me tell you, there is an uproar about this film not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in states like Delhi and UP. The Madhya Pradesh government has given a clear warning that if the posters of the film are not withdrawn, then legal action can be taken against the director and makers of the film.

Indian filmmaker Leena Manimekalai recently shared the poster of her documentary on social media. Then, she came to the target of the people. After the release of these posters, the sentiments of Hindus were hurt. People have expressed great displeasure over this. Many have also demanded Leena's arrest.
