Bihar: 8 people lost their lives due to poisonous liquor

Patna: In Bihar, 8 people have lost their lives due to poisonous liquor in Bettiah. Many people are also ill who are being treated in different hospitals. The case is of South Telhua village of Nautan police station area. The entire incident took place after it was learnt that several people had consumed liquor together in the Dalit Basti of the village itself on Wednesday evening.

Ruckus after liquor incident in Bettiah: According to the information received, all the deceased are residents of Ward No. 2, 3, 4 of South Telhua Panchayat. According to villagers, he drank alcohol on Wednesday evening after which his health suddenly started deteriorating. So far, 8 people have lost their lives. Several people are in critical condition and have been admitted to different hospitals.

Police and administration teams are investigating: Where it has been found that there was a stir among the people over the sudden liquor incident in Bettiah. A team of police and administration has immediately reached the spot. The case is under process. On the other hand, the families of the 8 people who have lost their lives are in a bad shape. The family members alleged that their loved ones lost their lives due to poisonous liquor.

8 died so far due to poisonous liquor in Gopalganj: A day ago, a poisonous liquor menace was reported in Gopalganj. The death toll has also gone up to 8. Two more people lost their lives at Mongolpur in Siddhavalia. He was ill after the poisonous liquor incident in Mohammadpur. However, the cause of death has not been officially confirmed.
