BharatPe's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suhail Sameer has stepped down. Sameer had a dispute with the company's former founder Ashneer Grover. In a statement, BharatPe said Sameer will serve as a strategic advisor with effect from January 7, 2023. It further added, "The current Chief Financial Officer Nalin Negi has been appointed as the interim CEO.''

According to sources, a leadership change is being planned at BharatPe, after which Suhail Sameer has stepped down as CEO. However, in the past months, many people have also resigned from the company. Last month, three senior executives — Chief Technology Officer Vijay Agarwal, PostPe chief Nehul Malhotra and Chief Products Officer for Debt-Consumer Products Rajat Jain — resigned from the company.

Let me tell you that there is a lot of controversy about BharatPe. Even before this, many people have been out of the company. The company's chief revenue officer Nishit Sharma left the company in June. Satyam Nathani, one of the founding members of BharatPe, also left the company the same month to pursue his career. At the same time, BharatPe has been in a lot of controversies since the removal of Ashneer Grover from the company. In the year 2022, Ashneer Grover had to be dropped from BharatPe. Subsequently, Ashneer Grover also leveled several allegations against the company and his former associates. In recent weeks, there have also been personal attacks on each other through Sameer and Grover. Recently, there have been many tweets through Ashneer Grover that show an aggressive attitude toward the company and its former colleagues.
