New Delhi: Today is the 52nd day of farmers' agitation against agricultural laws. The cold and rain-choking farmers have no mind to go back without their demands at any price. The government is also on its stand. The 10th round of talks between the farmers' organisations and the government on Friday could not reach any conclusion. Now, on 19th January, there will be talks between the government and the agriculturists. It has been revealed that the Supreme Court is going to hear on Monday the petitions challenging the three agricultural laws and removal of farmers camping on different borders of Delhi. The Supreme Court has set up an expert committee to break the deadlock between the two sides. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court has constituted a 4-member committee to resolve the issue. But the farmers have to speak that they are not going to appear before the Committee. Farmers say there is no point in negotiating with the government after constituting a committee on behalf of the Supreme Court.

It has been revealed that the farmers were adamant to implement their proposed 'Farmers Parade' programme of January 26 and to do something in Delhi. No change has been seen in the agitation programme announced by the United Kisan Morcha. The programme will continue to commemorate the Women Farmers' Day on 18th January, taking oath in remembrance of Shri Guru Gobind Singh on January 20 and the Siege of Raj Bhavan across the country on the Azad Hind Kisan Diwas on 23rd January.

As per the information received, a large number of farmers have stood on different borders of Delhi since November 26 amid severe cold and falling mercury as well as the dangers of Kovid-19. But there has been no consensus on the matter between the farmer and the government so far. A large number of agitating farmers have stood on several borders including Sindhu, Tikari, Palwal, Ghazipur. Many borders of Delhi are sealed due to this agitation.
