Mumbai: The 'National Investigation Agency' (NIA) has received a threatening e-mail. In this e-mail, there is a threat of terrorist attack in Mumbai. The emailer identified himself as a member of the Taliban. It has also been said that this attack will be on the orders of Taliban leader Sirajuddin Haqqani. Earlier, threats were also made regarding the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. After the information about this threatening e-mail came to the fore, the investigation and intelligence agencies have become alert. Along with this, the Mumbai Police has also been informed.

Not only this, apart from Mumbai, other cities have also been put on alert in this matter. At present, all the investigating agencies including the Mumbai Police are probing the matter to trace the sender of the email. Sirajuddin Haqqani is the leader of the Haqqani faction of the Taliban. He is considered one of the most dangerous Taliban leaders. Currently, he is the interior minister in the Taliban government of Afghanistan. The American investigative agency FBI has announced a reward of $10 million (Rs 82.25 crore) to the person telling his location. 

Earlier on Thursday (February 2), an unknown person threatened to blow up the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram being built in Ayodhya with a blast. This threat was given over the phone to a person named Manoj living in Ramkot, Ayodhya. He had told the police that the person making the threats had threatened to blow up the temple by 10 am. On January 7 also there was a threat of terrorist attack in Mumbai. This threat was given by calling the control room of Mumbai Police. The person who threatened had said that within two months there would be serial blasts like the 1993 bomb blasts in Mumbai. It was said with threats that these blasts would be carried out in Mahim, Bhindi Bazar, Nagpada, and Madanpura areas of Mumbai.

Along with this, the accused had claimed that the Nirbhaya gang rape-like incident and gruesome riots are about to take place in Mumbai. People from other states have been called for all these works. The accused who made the threatening call had also claimed that a Congress MLA was also involved in the entire incident. However, later the accused was arrested by the investigating agency. The accused was identified as Nabi Yahya Khan alias KGN alias Lala. A total of 12 criminal cases including robbery and molestation are registered against him.
