MP to receive heavy rain, IMD warns for several districts

Bhopal: As the spell of rain continues in Madhya Pradesh, many cities of the state are expected to receive rain from today's morning. In addition, the MET department has issued an alert for several districts today. The MET department has issued an orange alert for some districts and a yellow alert for some cities.  

Yellow alert in these districts today:-

In Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon is continuing. Today, the Met department has issued a yellow alert of rain in one division and 10 districts. These cities include Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Katni, Sagar, Damoh, Raisen, Vidisha, Guna, and Ashoknagar districts. While all the cities of the Shahdol division have also been issued rain alerts. Along with the capital Bhopal, districts of Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal and Narmadapuram divisions are also likely to receive thunderstorms today, besides Sagar, Jabalpur, and Rewa, some districts of the division are also likely to receive good rainfall today. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has put all the districts on alert.  

According to the Madhya Pradesh Meteorological Department, at present, three weather systems are active in the state, due to which the entire state is likely to receive rainfall. In addition to these three, a low-pressure area remains on the Odisha coast, in addition to this, Saurashtra in the Arabian Sea is also under very low pressure. Due to this, all the areas of the state are likely to get rain by staying.
