Lucknow: The people of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand should get ready for the rains again. The Meteorological Department informed on Tuesday (October 4) that clouds may rain heavily in the state in the coming 4-5 days. At the same time, the department has also predicted heavy rains in Northeast India. The special thing is that even during the monsoon period this year, there was a decline in rainfall in many parts.

According to the forecast made by the department, 'Low-pressure area is persisting over central Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas. It is very likely to move west-northwestwards towards Andhra Pradesh in the next two days.' According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain with heavy rainfall at a few places may occur over Odisha till October 6. There is a possibility of rain in West Bengal and Jharkhand today i.e. on October 4. The department has predicted rain in Bihar during the next two days.

At the same time, east Madhya Pradesh may receive rain during October 5-7, northwest Madhya Pradesh on October 6 and 7 and Chhattisgarh during the next two days. Along with this, very heavy rains may occur in Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha on Tuesday. However, Uttarakhand and northwest Uttar Pradesh are expected to receive heavy rainfall on October 7.
