Srinagar: Winter has started wreaking havoc in many areas of North India. There has been a huge drop in temperature in the last 3 days. Due to strong winds in the afternoon, people are not getting relief from the sun. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall in the mountains for two days. Due to this, winter will increase further in North India. Along with this, fog may also occur in Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab on the morning of December 12-13.
The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in the hilly areas from today. A western disturbance has hit Kashmir. Due to this, rain and snowfall are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh till Sunday. This will increase the effect of winter in the states of North India. However, there is no significant change in the minimum temperature in central and west India during the next two days, while the temperature may increase by 2 to 4 degrees from Monday.
In the northeastern states too, the temperature will fall in the next 3 to 4 days. In the north and west, the temperature will remain stable for the next 3-4 days. Dense fog is expected in Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi in the morning. There may be rain in Maharashtra in the next 48 hours. After the rains in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, the cold will increase further. At the same time, a cold wave has also started in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department Center Bhopal, the cold will increase further in the coming time. People will not get relief from the cold at the moment. In the last one week, the temperature has dropped by about 5 degrees.
