New Delhi:  Due to Saturday's fog and poor weather, more than 32 long-distance trains are running up to 7 hours or more behind their schedule. This would cause difficulty for passengers.

The Prayagraj-New Delhi Humsafar Express, Saharsa-New Delhi Vaishali Superfast Express, Rewa-Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Express, Kathgodam-Jaisalmer Ranikhet Express, and MGR, according to Northern Railway officials Both the Hyderbad Deccan Nampally-New Delhi Telangana Express and the Chennai Central-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express were running up to 1:30 hours behind schedule.

While the Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express, the Rajgir-New Delhi Sharmjeevi Superfast Express, the Ayodhya Cantt-Delhi Express, the JayNagar-Amritsar Clone Special, and the Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Andhra Pradesh Express, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, and Hyderbad Deccan Nampally-Hazrat Nizamuddin Dakshin Superfast Express Malwa Superfast Express was 2:30 hours behind schedule.

The Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodhi Express, and Barauni-New Delhi Clone Special were also 3:30 hours late,  the officials said.

Delhi Kaifiyaat Superfast Express, Pratapgarh-Delhi Padmavat Express, Lucknow-Malda Town-Delhi Farakka Express, Gorakhpur-Bathinda Gorakhdham Superfast Express, Amzamgarh Vasco-da-Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin Goa Express, Rani Kamlapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin Shaan-E-Bhopal Superfast Express, and Charbagh-New Delhi AC Superfast Express were all delayed by one hour.

While the MGR Chennai Central-New Delhi Grand Trunk Express, Kamakhya-Delhi Brahmaputra Mail, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Amritsar Express are all 3 hours late.

According to the officials, the following expresses are running late: Amritsar-Bilaspur Chhattisgarh Express, Raigarh-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express, Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express, Manikpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Uttar Pardesh Sampark Kranti Express, and Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Sadbhavana Express. They are running.

All over North India, cold wave conditions and dense fog are present, and the India Metrological Department (IMD) predicts that these conditions will persist for the first half of the following week as well.
