A relief for the capital, the strategy adopted by the Kejriwal government to stop Covid-19 has proved successful. The speed of Covid-19 in Delhi has slowed down. At present, the number of active patients is only 19,155, but the number of active patients last week was 25,038, 32 patients were found positive after every 100 patients were tested in the first week of June, but this week (till July 12), nine percent of the patients were found positive after 100 patients were tested. In the second week of July, there has been a decrease in the number of serious patients admitted to the hospital in Delhi. Last week, 65 percent beds in hospitals were empty, but this week 72 percent beds are empty. In the first week of June, every day 215 beds were required in the hospital reducing to171 beds in the second week,  and now only 139 beds are required every day, which means serious patients who have been admitted have decreased. Similarly, the death rate last month was 3.64 percent, which has come down to three percent.

The first plasma bank (ILBS) was opened in Delhi, now two more plasma banks have started in Lok Nayak and GTV Hospital, this has further improved the condition of patients by treatment with plasma therapy. It has also reduced the death rate.
