In the midst of a 21-days lockdown, the Indian government has announced that the highly popular show Ramayana in the 80s can be shown once again. Along with this, two episodes of this show will be shown daily from 28 March on Doordarshan's National Channel. One episode will be telecast at 9 am and the second episode at 9 pm. Right now not only Ramayana but there are many such serials of that era which were very popular among the people and even today people remember these shows.

For many people, the office-office broadcasting corruption in the government offices in a light manner was the best way to pass time in that era. Shahid Kapoor's father and legend actor Pankaj as a common man wandering in government offices. The show is considered as a classic comedy show due to its sharp content, great dialogues and tight screenplay.

The title track of this show sung in the voice of Sonu Nigam is still very popular among the fans. Along with this, the show, which aired on Doordarshan every Sunday, featured Chandrakata's love story and Akhilendra Mishra as Yakku as a villain in the show gained a lot of buzz.

Malgudi Days
Aired on Doordarshan in 1986, the show portrayed the small village of Malgudi. Due to its simple but effective plot, it is a classic show. There were 54 episodes of the show which was written by famous writer R.K. Made on the short stories of K Narayan. This show was made by Kannada actor and director Shankar. With this, children born in the 80's era still carry this show in the old memories and the show has also got 9.5 ratings on IMDb.

The show aired on DD National on 1994, Mandira Bedi gained immense popularity. Along with this, the show featured the story of two friends of the Bollywood production house, whose dark secrets of life were shown in the show.

Focusing on the life of two couples, the show had Reema Laggu, Archana Puran Singh, Jatin and Rakesh Bedi in the lead roles. This show is included in the most important roles of Jatin and Reema's career. Unfortunately, both stars are not among us today.
