Punjab National Bank (PNB) is now going to implement positive pay system (PPS). However, many banks have implemented it before Punjab National Bank. The bank has said that from the coming April 4, this will be renewed. In addition, Axis Bank is also changing its rules from the new financial year.  

Axis Bank's rules will change:-
There is necessary news for axis bank customers. From April 1, the limit of keeping a minimum balance in savings accounts for bank customers is going to increase. After the implementation of the new rule, the minimum balance in the savings account will increase by 10,000 rupees to 12,000 rupees. According to the report given by the bank, the limit of free cash transactions has also been changed to four free transactions or Rs 1.5 lakh.

In fact, this rule from the RBI deals with the verification of cheque payments. According to this rule, the cheque can also be returned if there is no confirmation. Earlier, THE PPS system has also been implemented by SBI and the Bank of Baroda.

The Positive Pay System (PPS) will be issued in Punjab National Bank from April 4, 2022. According to this scheme, PPS confirmation will be required if you issue a cheque of Rs 10 lakh or more through a bank branch or digital channel. In this, you have to give the account number, cheque number, date of the cheque, cheque amount, and name of the beneficiary. If you do not provide this information, your cheque will be returned.
