Despite the sanctions imposed outside the US and the restrictions imposed by the nuclear deal in 2015, the rest of the world's powerful countries have assured Iran that they will not allow them to suffer financially. Russia and China, along with three European countries, have assured Iran that they will relieve them from the US sanctions to provide economic benefits to Iran. However, the US had gone out of Iran two months ago with the nuclear deal in 2015.

Three European countries, including Russia and China, said they are committed to following the 2015 agreement, in which Iran's oil and gas and other energy products have to continue. Foreign ministers of these countries agreed on the 11-point joint goal in Vienna. This agreement was signed three years ago in Vienna. In a joint statement, Mohammed Javed Jarif of Iran and other diplomats reiterated their commitment to this agreement.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogrini read out a joint statement that the goal of these steps is to maintain the nuclear agreement which is in the interest of all. The website, president.ir stated that spokesperson said “The Americans have claimed they want to completely stop Iran’s oil exports. They don’t understand the meaning of this statement, because it has no meaning for Iranian oil not to be exported, while the region’s oil is exported.”
