These days many big Bollywood films are entertaining the audience in theatres. Among them Shraddha Kapoor 's horror-comedy film 'Stree 2' is making the most noise. At the same time, Akshay Kumar 's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham 's 'Veda' have also been released during this time. However, both these films are proving to be weak in front of 'Stree 2'. There is a competition between 'Veda' and 'Khel Khel Mein' at the box office, but the performance of Akshay Kumar's film seems to be better than John Abraham's film.
If we look at the figures of Sakcinlk , the film 'Veda' which was released on 15th August had a good opening on the first day. The film earned 6.3 crores on the first day , but after this the collection of the film started falling slowly. From the second day onwards the collection of the film was reduced to 1-2 crores, and after a few days this figure reached lakhs. On the ninth day the film earned only 30 lakhs , and on the 10th day also the collection of the film was only 60 lakhs .
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar's film 'Khel Khel Mein' has shown a slightly better performance at the box office. The film earned Rs 5.05 crore on the first day, which was slightly less than 'Veda'. However, even after this, 'Khel Khel Mein' earned more than 'Veda' every day. On the ninth day, while 'Veda' earned only Rs 30 lakh , 'Khel Khel Mein' collected Rs 70 lakh . On the tenth day too, 'Khel Khel Mein' did a business of Rs 1.25 crore , which is better than 'Veda'.
John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer 'Veda' has collected a total of Rs 18.50 crore in India in 10 days. Whereas, Akshay Kumar 's 'Khel Khel Mein' has done a business of Rs 21.30 crore . According to this, 'Khel Khel Mein' has earned Rs 2.8 crore more than 'Veda' at the box office. But, considering the budget of both the films, both these films seem to be falling in the category of flops.
According to media reports, the budget of 'Veda' is Rs 60 crore , while the budget of 'Khel Khel Mein' is Rs 100 crore . In this context, the earnings of both 'Veda' and 'Khel Khel Mein' are much less than their budget. If the performance of these films remains the same in the future, then there will be a danger of both the films being flops.
Amidst all this, Shraddha Kapoor 's 'Stree 2' has maintained its dominance at the box office. The film has made its place in Bollywood with a great collection and has also made a place in the hearts of the audience. At present, 'Veda' and 'Khel Khel Mein' are far behind 'Stree 2'.
