New Delhi: In order to further strengthen infrastructure, Northern Railway will construct 12 limited height Subways on Delhi-Shamli-Saharanpur section and to execute this work, there will be a traffic blockage of 8 hours on March 16, 2019, Northern Railway said There will be a cancellation/partial cancellation of Indian Railways trains on Saturday, March 16, 2019, on the Northern Railway network. The Indian Railways constructs various connecting pathways, renovates and overhauls the infrastructure of railways stations, platforms on a periodic basis.. Following the construction of Subways, four trains will be cancelled and two trains will be partially cancelled.

"To enhance Safety Standards, Northern Railway will take 08 hours traffic block on 16.03.2019 to construct 12 Limited Height Subways on Delhi-Shamli-Saharanpur Section. A few trains to remain affected," Northern Railway said in a tweet.

The trains which will be cancelled on March 16, 2019, include (74021/74024) Delhi Junction-Saharanpur-Delhi Junction DMU, (51910/51911) Saharanpur-Delhi Junction-Saharanpur Passenger, (51908/51907) Saharanpur-Shamali-Saharanpur Passenger, while, (54049/54060) Delhi Junction-Shamali-Delhi Junction Passenger will be cancelled on March 15 and March 16, 2019.

Haridwar-Delhi Junction Passenger (54476) and Delhi Junction-Haridwar Passenger will be cancelled on Delhi-Saharanpur section on March 16, 2019. Train number 14545 Farrukhnagar-Saharanpur Express will be regulated for 30 minutes at Noli on March 16, 2019, Northern Railway informed.

According to Northern Railway, passengers are requested to contact Railway Enquiry number 139 or visit the Indian Railways National Train Enquiry System website www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in for any kind of information with regard to the cancellation and partial cancellation of trains.
