At the same time, it has been learned that Pulitzer Prize winning physician Sid Mukherjee of Indian origin and Satish Tripathi, a prominent face of education world, will work to bring the New York economy back on track due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has decided to set up a commission to reform the state's weakened economy, with Mukherjee and Tripathi nominated as members.

India-born Mukherjee is an assistant professor at Columbia University Medical Center. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2011. While Tripathi is the director of University at Buffalo. Tripathi graduated from Banaras Hindu University. Governor Cuomo said on Sunday that the 15-member Blue-Ribbon Commission, headed by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, would also focus on improving telehealth and broadband access using innovative technologies.
