Techgiant, LG has announced that it will roll out the Android 9 Pie Update to some of its popular handsets in the coming weeks. The updates will come almost a year after the public release of Android 9 Pie, will be rolled out to the V30, V30S ThinQ, V35 ThinQ, and V40 ThinQ.
According to the report, updated these phones will join a slim list of two phones from LG who have previously received an update to Android's latest software version. Although the June 2019 deadline is being mooted for the software rollout, there is still no information about the exact dates of the rollout yet.

With no update roadmap available, it is yet to see if the update even finds its way to users across the globe by the deadline, or if LG only manages to share it with South Korean users by then. But keeping in mind LG's track record with slow updates, the latter looks more probable.
