Instagram is preparing to add many new features on its platform to its parent company Facebook. According to the report, testing of these features is currently on the way. Initially this feature will be brought to the iOS platform. The new features brought by Instagram will include star chat, search filters and data downloads.   

There is currently a Star Chat feature on WhatsApp where users can easily mark their favorite chat by marking 'Star' and separately. This feature will also be seen on Instagram Platform soon. According to the report, the option profile of 'Star Chat feature' will be given next to Info. After pressing the message with it, it will be edited in the list of star marked message.

Filter message option will be added soon to facilitate the users in the option of Direct Message from the Filter Message on Instagram. This will allow users to easily view inbox, unread message and star messages individually.   

Recently after the facebook data leak dispute, downloading personal user data option can be added to Instagram in the form of Facebook. After that, users can download a copy of all their data shared from the Instagram app whenever they are. All the data downloaded from the Instagram will go to the user's registered email id in the .zip file format, from which the data will be easily downloadable.
