Your SMS app is going to be completely changed from Google and may start from this month. According to a report by The Verge, Google is going to replace its SMS platform with the next generation platform called Rich Communication Services (RCS). The report says that users will then get features such as read-recent, high-quality attachments. Like the chatting app, it'll also know that someone is typing a message and is front-facing.

The new platform doesn't find one thing compared to  WhatsApp and other messaging platforms and is end-to-end encryption. With this encryption, no one other than the sender and receiver can access their messages. "We believe that the conversation between the two people and especially the messaging is completely personal and the users have the right to privacy," said Saraj Ahari, product managing director at Android Messaging. It is our responsibility to give users a better solution and we are working on it," he said.

Starting next month, Google will allow users in the UK and France to use Google's RCS chat service. For this, users have to be part of the program themselves. Gradually, it will be delivered to users in other countries as well. Google has said it will release its service almost throughout the year, although even after this, Google has not said that the service will be available to users in all regions. Once it's rolled out, users will see a prompt banner to upgrade to ANCs chat in the Android Messages app. RCS Chat will be available to all Android users and will be part of the default app. One of the biggest challenges for the encryption platform is that, when we talk about data privacy, we delete the message from the RCS backend service as soon as we talk about data privacy," Dr. Ronnie, a product of messages, told The Verge. We place the message on our server when the other person is online and the deleted message is sent from the server as soon as he/she arrives online.
