starkids do get it easy in the beginning thanks to their famous parents and filmy connections but then, the fate of any actor is not decided by their parents but by the audience in the end. One might get a fancy big break with a big budget film but then if he/she can't act and if the audience doesn't approve of watching them on the big screen then nothing works whatsoever.

Here are a few starkids who failed to make it big in Bollywood

Sikandar Kher

Veterean actor Anupam Kher's son Sikandar made his debut with 'Woodstock Villa' (2008) followed by five to six films , but all failed to make an impression on the critics as well as the audiences. He was last seen in John Abraham’s RAW which faired decently but it was not just him but the story that stood out more.

Adhyayan Suman

Shekhar Suman's son, Adhyayan made his debut in 2008 with 'Haal-E-Dil' and went on to appear in a handful of other films - none of which succeeded in solidifying his hold on the Indian audience.

Harshvardhan Kapoor

Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan stepped into the industry with film called Mirzya which was a rather unconventional one to begin with. It was shot well, a challenging role too but unfortunately, the audience couldn't connect with him or the film. Then came his second film, Bhavesh Joshi which again did nothing good for his actng career.

Athiya Shetty

Suneil Shetty's daughter made her debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi with Salman Khan's production venture, Hero. Things went fine and she bagged her second film, Mubarakaan co-starring Arjun Kapoor which got a pretty decent response. However, when one talks about Athiya as an actress, there's not much raved about her or her performance as yet.

Uday Chopra

Filmmaker Yash Chopra's son, many would have expected an easy ride for him into Bollywood but unfortunately, he couldn't do much to impress the audience. Right from his debut in 'Mohabbatein' (2000) to his last appearance in 'Dhoom 3' (2013), we only got to see him in a handful of films and regretfully not many of them are worth remembering.
