Creative has also adopted several maneuvers to hit BB13 after the season 12 flop. Bigg Boss 13 was promoted as a crooked season. Many major changes were made. A lot of this happened in the show which happened for the first time in the history of Bigg Boss. The biggest and striking point among them was the bold act of contestants seen this season. However, this boldness does not include things like romance in the swimming pool, bikini look, being openly romantic, which has been seen in previous seasons. Contestants have seen a different type of bold style in Bigg Boss 13. Here the contestants were not getting bold, rather the format was made by the makers so that boldness could be seen on the screen.

For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, the makers made the rule of bed-sharing of male-female contestants. Initially, mail-contestants were made bed partners through a task from Bigg Boss. In previous seasons, there were couples, but in Bigg Boss 13, the creative tried to make pairs. On the show, Shahnaz-Siddharth, Paras-Mahira share a bed. Siddharth-Shahnaz shares not one bed but only one blanket. His joke has also been mocked on this weekend. However, Siddharth-Shehnaz is just a friendship relationship. But both of them hug and sleep on the screen, coming very close and talking often makes them uncomfortable. On the other hand, Paras Chhabra keeps kissing him despite saying no to Mahira Sharma to show his Playboy image.

Though this kissing act of Paras is friendly, but when the contestants openly share a bed and kissing in the Big Boss called Family Show, it becomes difficult to watch the show with the family. At the beginning of the show, the contestants were given a task where the householders had to hold each other and pass them to each other. The Karni Sena demanded a ban on the show. The show was also accused of spreading obscenity and indecency. Well, amidst these protests and ban demands, it cannot be denied that Bigg Boss 13 has proved to be the biggest hit season. The show's TRP has set new records. After watching the success of season 13, it is being speculated that the makers can increase these limits of boldness in BB14.
