The new series CC has been announced by Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun described CC as colorful and creative. The series is designed by students of 'Chic & Cool' Arts. However, Xiaomi has not introduced any smartphones under the CC series yet.

According to a report, the company is likely to launch the Mi CC9 under the CC series. The Mi-CC9 can get flip cameras like Asus 6Z. It is said to be the first smartphone of the Xiaomi and Meitu brands. Xiaomi acquired the Meitu brand in November last year but has not yet launched any phones under the brand.

Speaking at an event held in China, Li Jun said the smartphone, launched under the Meitu brand, will have advanced camera hardware and beauty technology. It is expected that Xiaomi will get more beauty filters than ever before with the camera. According to the XDA developers report, Meitu's phone will get an AMOLED display. It also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 processor, a 48-megapixel rear camera is available. Ultra wide angle lens with a rear camera can also be found. The company currently has achieved better sales of its smartphones in India.
